Readers Vote 2012: What’s Your Favorite Beer Garden?

St. Louis is a beer town, but we need our readers to tell us where to find the best beer garden in the area. Vote now for our nominees!

The history of beer in St. Louis can be traced back to the 1800s, when the famous Lemp family started the first local brewery, according to Explore St. Louis.

Early German and Irish settlers helped build a city that centers around its beer. From Anheuser Busch in Soulard to , St. Louis has dozens of breweries and microbreweries constantly producing different beer creations for us, lucky over-21 St. Louisans, to try.

Beer gardens offer customers an opportunity to experience a variety of flavors, textures and alcohol contents of different beers.

But we want the opinion of our readers, who we considered our most important experts, to tell us their favorite place to have a cold one.

Just vote in our poll below for your favorite beer garden in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

The voting period will take place from today until Aug. 17 at midnight. Winners will be announced on Aug. 24.
