St. Louis Rams Teach Kids to 'Play 60' For Physical Fitness

The St. Louis Rams partnered with Life Time Fitness and created a day of fun in the name of fitness for kids. It's called "PLAY 60" and it encourages activity for 60 minutes each day.

"PLAY 60" is the NFL’s campaign to combat childhood obesity by encouraging kids to be active for at least 60 minutes every day, the St. Louis Rams stated in a news release.

Last weekend, the Rams partnered with Life Time Fitness in Ellisville at Clarkson and Clayton Roads, to make the club the official home of the PLAY 60 initiative.

Saturday, Rams players spend time with local kids, ages five to 14, as part of their Rams Kids Club program. They promoted PLAY 60, during the football-and-fitness-themed event.

In a news release, the Rams stated that the team and Life Time Fitness will host five events throughout the season aimed at promoting health and fitness for children and families. They will include family-themed events that showcase some of Life Time Fitness' group classes, appearances by Rams players and classes with the Rams’ training staff, according to the release.
