Have you ever stopped to think how satisfying was that meal? Most of us have a schedule that requires eating on the run and do not have time to savor the flavor of our food. And, some have been "dieting" so long stop because they feel they should.
We should eat by physical hunger and satiety cues. If we are eating out of boredom, stress or just because it is time to eat we are giving food a power it doesn't have. Food has the power of fuel but not to pass idle time or increase happiness or eliminate stress.
While eating focus on the food and how satisfying it is and how long it sustains you. Be mindful and internally connected.
