At our Caregiver Awards Luncheon, we will recognize the staff and volunteers of the long-term care facilities, hospice and home health agencies in our service area who demonstrate excellence in person-centered care and exemplify commitment to quality of care. Attendees for this luncheon include staff and volunteers from among the 350 long-term care facilities, hospice and home health agencies in our 21-county service area as well as professionals in the elder care industry. Tickets cost $50 per person. Last year we had over 400 in attendance, with the goal of reaching 500 this year.
The Boutique, which is a new addition to our annual luncheon, is an opportunity to find the perfect holiday gift while shopping for jewelry, home decor, clothing and many other beautiful and unique items. We will have over 20 vendors, all of whom will donate 10% of all their sales to the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program. There is no entrance fee to go to the Boutique, although we certainly encourage attendance at both the Boutique as well as the luncheon.
