Hello, Ballwin and Ellisville!

Hello Patch readers! My name is Madeleine Heppermann and I would like to introduce myself as the newest blog contributor to the Ballwin-Ellisville Patch site.

My family is from St. Louis originally, but we have only been residents of Ballwin for eight years now, after living in Kansas City for two years and Chicago for ten. I attended public school in Chicago, but made the transition to the Catholic school system when we arrived in Ballwin. I attended Holy Infant for my middle school years, and last spring. Now a college student at Lindenwood University, I am currently pursuing a major in journalism which has led me to this opportunity of being able to write for Patch.

A lover of fashion, art, and theater, I am an avid reader and value any time I can spend with family and friends. I truly believe in the power of the written word and hope that as I make my first formal journalistic attempts, I will be able to contribute a fresh perspective on life in the Ballwin suburbs.
