Charles "Bud" Hodgson, who in 1950 co-founded the Batz Hodgson Neuwoehner Advertising Agency and saw it become one of the largest such agencies in the city, died last week and was memorialized in a service on Sunday. He was 93.

Mr. Hodgson died March 5 of acute respiratory failure at Meramec Bluffs nursing home in Ballwin, according to an obituary published Saturday by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He had been a longtime resident of Webster Groves.
