St. Louis Artist Ted Collier to Be Featured in Solo Exhibit Waves

ST. LOUIS – Local artist Ted Collier will be featuring his artwork Sat., July 12 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Chase Park Plaza’s Café Eau in the Central West End.

This one-night only art show and cocktail party is open to the public.

The art show, which is called Waves, will feature all new original works by the acclaimed mixed media artist. Collier is known for his creative and vibrant use of color in his art.

In a very generous move, Collier is donating 25 percent of the proceeds from all art sales during the exhibition to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Admission to the event is free.

Collier is an artist living and working in St. Louis. His painting is influenced by his passion for the outdoors, his dreams, and things he sees in every day life. He uses a strong element of “process” to develop the paintings and vision. He begins with an initial structure then through the process, he discovers patterns, shapes, and movement that create stunning imagery.

Collier, who works mostly in acrylics, has had his work featured in local venues and has sold paintings nationwide.
