3 Critically Injured in Two-Car Crash on Manchester Road

A Sunday afternoon wreck involving a pickup truck and a Toyota left two men and a woman in critical condition.

A man and a woman in their 60s and another man in his late 30s are in critical condition today after a Sunday afternoon wreck totaled their cars on Manchester Road just west of Clarkson.

came in at 2:31 p.m. on Sunday, according to spokesman Sgt. Nancy Walker.

She said a St. Louis County Police accident reconstruction team was working on a report about the wreck. Basically, she said, a green Chevy pickup truck driven by a man in his 30s was traveling westbound on Manchester Road when a Toyota sedan pulled out of the parking lot at the .

A man and a woman, both in their 60s, were in the Toyota.

"The truck basically T-boned the Toyota," Walker said. "Then the impact pushed the Toyota across Manchester Road toward where the Moore's Cadillac parking lot was."

Walker said all three were last reported in critical condition. They had been transported to a local hospital, but she had no information about which hospital. She declined to release the names of the three accident victims.

Walker said it could take two to three weeks to get theΒ accident reconstruction report.
