Ballwin Crime Report: Loaded Pistol Stolen

The Ballwin Police Department this week reported various crimes that occurred between Friday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 20.

• A hole was drilled into the gas tank of a pickup truck and about 20 gallons of gas was stolen between 5 p.m. on July 14 and 6:30 a.m. on July 15 in the 100 block of Timka Drive. The damage is estimated at $580.

• More than $8 cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 10 p.m. on July 15 and 7 a.m. July 16 in the 400 block of Hill Trail.

• A loaded Ruger pistol was stolen between 10 p.m. on July 15 and 1:30 p.m. on July 16 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block of Ivywood Drive. The item is valued at approximately $280.

• A vehicle's fender and door were damaged and its window broken by a pellet gun the evening of July 18 in the 300 block of Claymont Drive. The damage is estimated at $500.

• A vehicle's window was broken between the evening of July 18 and the morning of July 19 in the 900 block of Penny Court. The damage is estimated around $250.

• A vehicle's window was broken and its GPS unit was stolen between 11 p.m. on July 18 and 11 a.m. on July 19 in the 300 block of Elmcrest Drive. The combined losses are estimated around $350.

• A motorcycle's license plate was stolen after 7 p.m. on July 18 in the 200 block of Warner Court.

• A vehicle's window was shattered between 5 p.m. on July 19 and 6:30 a.m. on July 20 in the 400 block of Hill Trail. The damage was estimated at $200.

• A cell phone valued around $400 was stolen the afternoon of July 18 from a breezeway-area in the 100 block of Steamboat Lane.
