BALLWIN CRIME: Rash of Car Break-ins in Ballwin

Two of the car break-ins happened on the same block. The following information was submitted by the Ballwin Police Department. An arrest does not indicate conviction.

The Ballwin crime report for the dates July 5- 11:

July 7

Between 11 p.m. on July 7 and 11:10 a.m. on July 8, $40 cash were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 300 block of Woodgreen Drive.

July 8

At approximately 4:10 a.m., two male subjects broke a window on a vehicle while it
was parked in the 300 block of Woodgreen Drive. They stole a purse containing cash and
identification cards. The combined damage and loss is estimated at $265.

Between 7:30 p.m. and midnight, a phone, charger, and GPS device were stolen out of vehicles
while they were parked in the 400 block of Lexbridge. The loss is over $500.

July 11

During the overnight hours between July 11 and July 12, Β a laptop, ipod, GPS device, radar detector, and $90 cash were stolen out of unlocked vehicles while they were parked in the 15900 block of Eagle Chase Court. The loss is over $500.
