Ballwin Crime Report

Ballwin police report stolen catalytic converters, and a flatscreen TV taken that's likely to disappoint.

The reports that catalytic converters were stolen from cars parked overnight on the 100 block of Steamboat Lane. Police say the crime occurred overnight on Thursday, Jan. 27. The converters are valued at more than $2,000.

Police also reported a burglary involving a broken plasma television stolen from a resident's garage. Police say the  burglary occurred some time Friday, Jan. 28 on the 100 block of Dear Meadows Court. The television was valued at roughly $50.
