Ballwin Crime Report: Aug. 4 – 10

The Ballwin Police Department reports various crimes that occurred throughout the last week.

• About 150 hydrocodone pills were stolen between June 15 and August 4 from a residence in the 300 block of Sunfield Place. The pills were valued at $30.

• A vehicle's door and drunk were scratched with a sharp object sometime between 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. August 4 near Mid Trail and Log Trail drives. The damage was estimated at $700.

• The faceplate of a car CD receiver and an mp3 player were stolen sometime between late August 4 and early August 5 from a vehicle with partially rolled down windows parked in the 800 block of Hollyridge Court. The items were valued at $150.

• An iPod, radar detecter and cell phone charger were stolen between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. August 4 from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Talbert Court. The items were valued at more than $500.

• A home window was broken by a decorative concrete mask that was thrown through it sometime around 3 a.m. August 9 in the 800 block of Gardenway Drive. The window's damage was estimated around $200.

• Two credit cards, a GPS unit, a cell phone and cash were stolen from unlocked vehicles sometime between late August 8 and early August 9 in the 100 block of Hollybrush Court and the 100 block of Hollyleaf Court. The stolen property had a combined value of roughly $285.

Representatives of the Ballwin Police Department remind residents to secure home valuables and lock and secure their vehicles in an effort to prevent theft.
