Ballwin Crime Report: Burglary, Theft from Vehicles

The Ballwin Police Department reports several incidents from the last week involving thefts throughout the city.

• A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle between 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on July 24 parked at 345 Holloway Road. Police said the vehicle's windows were "rolled down slightly" and the vehicle was not damaged. The phone was valued around $300.

A cell phone was stolen between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on July 24 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Brite Star Court. The phone was valued at approximately $300.

• A briefcase was stolen from an unlocked vehicle some time between the night of July 24 and early July 25 in the 600 block of Running Creek Drive.

• A set of keys was stolen from an unlocked vehicle some time between the night of July 24 and early July 25 in the 500 block of Seawind Drive.

• Goods totalling about $1,900 were stolen from an unsecured garage some time between July 24 and July 26 in the 900 block of Camargo Drive. One or more people stole golf clubs, a golf bag and an iPod out of an unlocked vehicle parked in the garage, which was left open at various times between the dates of the crimes.

• A briefcase, a checkbook and a GPS unit were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between the night of July 26 and early July 27 in the 200 block of Old Ballwin Road.
