Ballwin Man Facing Child Porn Charges Led Holy Infant-Based Scouts

A new report on Ballwin resident Jeffrey R. Bainter says he led a scout troop based out of Holy Infant Church in Ballwin.

Accountant and Ballwin resident Jeffrey R. Bainter, 41, who is charged with four counts of possessing child pornography and two counts of promoting child porn, led a Boy Scout Troop based out of in Ballwin, CBS-St.Louis reports.

The report said that Bainter led Cub Scout Pack-627, and was a soccer coach for a church youth team.

Boy Scouts spokesperson Joe Mueller told KMOV that parents were informed of the charges shortly after Bainter's arrest.

“We had a meeting with the parents in conjunction with the pastoral staff of Holy Infant on Monday night,” Mueller told KMOV. “Every leader every parent that had questions we could meet with them have face to face conversations (sic).”

Bainter, who is listed as an audit manager for finance group Deloitte & Touche, has a court date in his case scheduled for April 26.
