Ballwin Police: Goods Stolen from Cars, $4,000 Cash Taken from Home

Ballwin police reported this week that multiple cars were illegally entered, $4,000 cash was stolen from a home and a locked church entryway was forced open.

• The Ballwin Police Department reported this week that a door at at 14825 Manchester Road was forced open some time Wednesday, March 23. Nothing was reported stolen.

• Also on March 23, police said a gasoline drive-off for the amount of $45.02 occurred at at 15221 Manchester Road in Ballwin. Police said a possible suspect associated with a license plate caught by a security camera is being investigated.

• Police reported that three vehicles were illegally accessed between Thursday, March 24 and Sunday, March 27. Cars parked at the 900 block of Oakwood Farms Lane, the 200 block of Village Creek Court and the 400 block of Castle Glen Court all were illegally entered. Police said no locks were tampered with nor were any windows broken.

Among the items reported stolen from the cars were checkbooks, credit and debit cards, a Dewalt drill, an iPod and Oakley sunglasses. The stolen goods totaled in value to roughly $650.

• Police reported that some time between Sunday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 29, one or more people stole $4,000 cash from a home on the 600 block of Twigwood Drive. Police said they believe the cash was stolen by someone legally inside the residence.
