Ballwin Police Report Burglary, Theft From Cars

The Ballwin Police Department reports two cases of theft from a vehicle that occurred late last month, one of which involved a burglarized garage.

β€’ A wallet and credit cards were stolen late Tuesday, May 24 or early morning that Wednesday from a car parked in the 400 block of Melanie Meadows Lane in Ballwin. The victim's vehicle was unlocked.

β€’ A weed eater was reported stolen Sunday, May 29 from a backyard shed in the 200 block of St. Marys Drive in Ballwin. The shed door was unlocked. The item was valued around $250.

β€’ Goods totalling $1,400 in value were stolen late Sunday, May 29 or early morning Monday from the garage of a home in the 15900 block of Capitol Landing Drive in Ballwin. The victim said his garage door was up and car unlocked, resulting in the theft of a wallet, an iPhone and a set of golf clubs.

The Ballwin Police Department asks all drivers to lock their car doors and secure all valuables prior to leaving their vehicles.
