Ballwin Police Suspect Man of 50+ Crimes

The Ballwin Police Department reported Tuesday that it's seeking a man caught by security footage who they believe committed burglaries, theft and auto theft.

Police say one man, shown here outdoors on a security camera, is responsible for more than 50 crimes ranging from residential burglaries to car theft.

Between early March and mid-June, police said, the man committed criminal acts in Ballwin and other jurisdictions, typically entering cars and garages late at night or early morning. In addition to stealing valuables such as GPS units and laptop computers, the man also stole three vehicles with car keys left inside them, police said.

Police said the man is not acting alone, but information on possible accomplices is not currently available.
