Ballwin Teen Arrested For Street Sign Thefts

A 15-year-old from Ballwin is among three people arrested for stealing street signs earlier this month.

The following information was supplied by the Warson Woods Police Department.  Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.
June 1:
A resident of the 400 block of Mark Drive reported seeing several subjects steal street signs from the intersection of Mark Drive and Minmar Drive in Warson Woods at 9:35 p.m. An officer stopped the suspects as they tried to flee the area on North Woodlawn Avenue at Manchester Road. The street signs were located in the truck and recovered.  A 15-year-old Ballwin boy was arrested for the theft and charges will be referred to the St. Louis County Family Court.  The 17-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger, both from Chesterfield, were released pending consideration of criminal charges.
