Ballwin Woman Killed in Early Saturday Morning Crash

Brooke Bahmler, 24, died after her vehicle collided with a Jeep on Illinois Route 3 at Yellow Brick Road. Her sister, friend and another driver were injured in the accident as well.

A fatal crash early Saturday morning in Illionis has claimed the life of a Ballwin woman and injured her sister, best friend and another driver.

The accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Illinois Route 3 at Yellow Brick Road, according to a report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, whenΒ a vehicle driven by Brooke Bahmler, 24, of the 100 block of Clear Meadows Drive, collided with a Jeep driven by Sharon Frison, 34, of St. Louis.

Bahmler was pronounced dead after being transported to Touchette Regional Medical Center. Her passengers, sister Abigail Bahmler, 22, and friend, Alexis Hoester, 23, of House Springs, Mo., were injured in the crash along with the driver of the other vehicle.

The Post-Dispatch reported that the incident is being investigating by the Sauget Police, who said it does not appear that alcohol played a role in the accident.
