Crime Report for Ellisville

Home burglarized with losses greater than $10,000; car television stolen

 

The  reported this week that a home was broken into some time Thursday, Dec. 16 on the 1500 block of La Dina Place.

Police said at least one burglar gained access to the home some time between 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. by breaking a window. The suspected burglar then stole items including a shotgun, a computer, jewelry, and other electronic games. The items are valued at a total of roughly $10,450.

Police also reported a TV head that was stolen from a vehicle Friday, Dec. 17 near the near 8 Ellisville Towne Centre Drive. The vehicle was parked outside a Mobil gas station lot some time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. when someone entered the car through an unsecured window, police said. The TV unit is valued at $650.
