Ellisville Car Window Shattered, Purse Stolen

The Ellisville Police Department reported that a car break-in resulted in more than $370 lost.

The Ellisville Police Department reports that one or more people shattered the driver-side window of a car last month and stole a purse inside.

Police said the incident occurred between 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 and 9:30 a.m. the next morning Friday at the 1000 block of Tulip Lane.

The car was a 2003 Buick parked on a driveway. The victim reported losing a purse containing cash and miscellaneous items valued in total at $373. The car's electric locks, in addition to the window, also were damaged.
