Ellisville Man Burglarized Neighbor's Home, Tried to Pawn Stolen Ring, Police Say

An Ellisville man faces criminal charges for burglarizing a neighbor’s home.

Brent Picard, 24, of the first block of Reinke Road in Ellisville, was charged Aug. 27 with second-degree burglary and felony theft.

Ellisville Police said Picard broke into a home in the first block of Reinke Road July 7 and stole items to support his heroin addiction.

Picard later attempted to pawn a ring that was stolen from the house, police said.

A warrant was issued for Picard’s arrest Aug. 27. Bail was set at $20,000.
