Ellisville Man Charged With Child Porn Possession

St. Louis County Police raided Jeffrey Hanlen's home Saturday and seized a computer.

An Ellisville man faces child pornography possession and resisting arrest charges after St. Louis County Police seized a computer from his home Saturday.

Jeffrey Hanlen, 52, of the 1000 block of Arroya Trail in Ellisville, was charged Wednesday with possession of child pornography and resisting arrest.

St. Louis County Police said officers conducting an investigation went to Hanlen’s home Saturday. According to a police report, Hanlen slammed the door, which hit one detective in the knee. Police said Hanlen refused to comply with orders to stop resisting arrest.

Police said officers seized his computer, which later was searched. According to a court document, the computer contained video files of pre-pubescent children engaged in sex with adults and animals.

Hanlen is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $200,000.
