Ellisville Police Investigating Another Suspicious SUV

For the second time in a week, Ellisville Police are looking for the driver of a white SUV who approached kids.

Ellisville Police are investigating a report that a woman in an SUV approached teenage boys over the weekend. While authorities say the woman did not ask the boys if they wanted a ride or get out of the vehicle, it is the second case involving a white SUV and children reported in the last week.

On Wednesday, a woman approached an Ellisville Elementary School student and offered her a ride times. The student ran home and her family called police.

Police say on Saturday, at 12:16 p.m., Police were called to the 1500 block
of Polaris Drive. According to a department press release, "a female in a dirty white van/SUV stopped and was talking to two 13 year old boys. The woman told the boys that her friend had seen on the news  something about a suspicious white van in the area and asked them what that was about.  The boys told
her it was about an attempt abduction that had occurred earlier in the week. The woman said ok and drove off.  They were unable to get a license plate for her vehicle. "

It is unclear if the two incidents are related. Police are asking for anyone with information, including the driver of the vehicle, to call 636-227-7777.
