Ellisville Police: Laptop Stolen from Unlocked Car's Backseat

This week's crime report included another high-worth item left in sight in an unlocked vehicle.

An unfortunate trend is occurring: Ellisville and Ballwin police reports continue to include stolen items from unlocked vehicles.

This week, Ellisville Police reported another similar situation.

Between 6 p.m. Aug. 21 and 7:15 a.m. Aug. 22, a laptop computer was stolen from the backseat of an unlocked vehicle parked in a residence driveway on the 1200 block of Polo Lake Drive. The laptop was valued at $800.
