Ellisville Police Report Stolen Vehicles; Felony Theft

The Ellisville Police Department reports multiple crimes from the last week.

• A 2011 Mazda CX-7 was stolen between 11:55 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 from the lot of in Ellisville. Police said keys were left in the ignition, which was left running in order to do work on the vehicle related to its battery. When the worker returned, the vehicle was gone.

Police said the CX-7 likely still was in white plastic shrink wrap Mazdas ship in from the assembly line when it was stolen. Edmunds.com values the car at $21,990.

• A unattended purse was stolen around 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at when the owner left the restaurant with her purse on the chair she was using. When the owner returned, the bag was gone. The purse contained a driver's license, gift cards, cash and a credit card. The loss was valued at $70.

• A total of $2,061 worth of jewelry was reportedly stolen around late November from a residence in the 1000 block of Tulip Lane, the victim told police.

• A 2012 Ford Fusion was reportedly stolen sometime between 9 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5 at . The vehicle was accessed through the attached key-lockbox, which was broken. The vehicle is valued at $23,439.
