Ellisville Police: Truck Spray-Painted, Nike Sandals Nearly Stolen

The Ellisville Police Department reports two crimes that occurred late last month.

Editor's Note: The following information was submitted by the Ellisville Police Department:

Sometime between Monday, May 21, 11:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 22, 9:00 a.m., unknown person(s) using black paint spray-painted several words on the tailgate of a 2007 Dodge Ram truck parked on the street in the 400 block of Chukker Valley. The cost of the damage is unknown.

On 5/26/12 at approximately 5:42 p.m., a 38 year old Grey Summit man attempted to steal a $42 pair of Nike Comfort sandals from Kohl’s located at 25 Ellisville Towne centre Drive. The subject was issued a summons for petty larceny.
