Ex-Con Stole Ring From Girlfriend's Grandmother, Police Say
The defendent received a five-year sentence for receiving stolen property and a three-year-sentence for burglary in 2011.
A West County man faces stealing-related charges after Ballwin Police said he tried to sell a ring that belonged to his girlfriendβs grandmother.
Alan Bullock, 26, of the 300 block of Bellezza Drive in West County just east of Ballwin, was charged Wednesday with receiving stolen property, a class C felony.
Ballwin Police said Bullock sold a gold ring with a blue, marquise-cut stone surrounded by diamond chips on Sept. 1 to a shop in Des Peres. The ring belonged to the grandmother of a woman he was dating at the time. The grandmother discovered several pieces of jewelry missing.

Bail was set at $10,000.
Bullock pleaded guilty in November 2011 to a burglary and theft in Ellisville, and received a three-year prison sentence. He also pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property in May 2011, and received a five-year prison sentence.
