Grab Coffee With The Ballwin Cops Saturday Morning

You're invited to an informal get-together with members of the Ballwin Police.

Your weekend plans could include an encounter with the police, and that could be a good thing in Ballwin.

As part of a national program supported by the U.S. Justice Department and other agencies, Ballwin Police will set up for Coffee with a Cop at The Wolf, 15480 Clayton Road, from 9am-11am Saturday.

Coffee is on the house.

The idea is that people might be in a better position to communicate with authorities about other issues when they aren't in emergency scenarios themselves.

“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns, or simply get to know our officers,” said Ballwin Police Chief Steve Schicker in a news release. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”
