Home on Castlerea Burglarized; Purse Stolen at Bluebird Park

The Ellisville Police Department reports a burglary and a case of larceny that occurred in the last week.

β€’ A home was burglarized sometime between 6 a.m. and 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, August 3 in the 16000 block of Castlerea Boulevard in Ellisville. One or more persons gained access to the home by prying open a rear kitchen window. Jewelry stolen was valued at $400.

β€’ A purse was stolen from a vehicle sometime between 2:40 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Bluebird Park, which is near the . One or more people shattered a rear, passenger-side window and stole the purse which contained paperwork, miscellaneous cards, cash and a cell phone. The losses were valued at $846.
