Man Entered House, Rummaged Through Items With Homeowner Present, Police Say

The man fled when the resident confronted him, Ballwin Police reported.

A St. Charles County man went into a Ballwin home and began searching through items Feb. 22 until the homeowner confronted him, police said.

Bryan P. Frantz, 31, of the 2700 block of Kelsey Court in St. Charles County, was charged Feb. 23 with first-degree burglary.

Ballwin Police said Frantz entered the home in the 1000 block of Kehrs Mill Road in Ballwin and fled when the resident confronted him.

Frantz posted a $35,000 bond Feb. 25 and was released from jail.
