Man Molested Two Children in Ballwin, Queeny Park, Police Say

Bryan Ziegler was listed as a water polo coach in a Manchester summer program and was formerly a contract worker at Parkway South High School.

A Manchester man is accused of sodomizing a young girl and boy at three locations in West County.

Bryan Ziegler, 32, of the 800 block of Winding Path Lane in Manchester, was charged June 19 with two counts of first-degree child molestation and five counts of first-degree statutory sodomy.

Ballwin Police said Ziegler subjected two children to sexual contact several times between Aug. 1, 2012 and June 8. The children are less than 12 years old.

The contact occurred several times at a home in Ballwin, twice at Ziegler’s residence and once in Queeny Park.

Ziegler was listed as a water polo coach with the Manchester Stingrays in a summer program hosted by the city of Manchester, according to an article on stltoday.com. However, the City of Manchester tells Patch, Ziegler worked for the city from 2009 to 2012, but was not employed this summer.

Ziegler also was a contracted employee for the Parkway School District, keeping score during water polo and swim meets at Parkway South High School, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

However, Ziegler told the district earlier this year he is no longer available to continue his contract.

A warrant has been issued for Ziegler’s arrest. Bail has been set at $50,000.

Anyone with information regarding a crime involving Ziegler should contact the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office at 314 615-2600 or the Ballwin Police Department at 636 227-9636.
