Man Threatens Ballwin Officer With Machete, Police Say

Police were able to arrest the man, who kicked a cage and banged his head against a door inside a patrol car, causing damage.

A man threatened a Ballwin officer with a machete Wednesday in the 700 block of Dutch Mill Road, police said.

Ballwin Police said they received a 911 call from the home in which the caller told a dispatcher, β€œWe need police here now,” and then hung up the phone.

When police arrived, they heard screaming inside the Ballwin home. Brandon Wilinski, 21, opened the door holding a machete and screamed at the officers. He told them to get out or he would kill them.
