Two Men Attempt to Rob 'Saitta Auto Supply'

Ballwin police report that two men tried to rob the auto supply store on Manchester Road late last month.

Police report that two men attempted to burglarize in Ballwin late last month. A witness reportedly told police that he saw two men in hooded sweatshirts break a glass rear window behind the store around 9 p.m. on Saturday, Februrary 26. The witness then shouted at the suspects, who proceeded to run south down Ramsey Lane. The witness then contacted Ballwin police. Although nothing was stolen from Saitta's, the window damage was estimated at $200.
