Council to Award 'Ballwin Days' Contracts for Fireworks, Rides

Monday night's council meeting also is scheduled to include a closed-session performance review for City Administrator Bob Kuntz.

The Ballwin Board of Aldermen is scheduled to meet Monday to approve contracts dealing with fireworks and carnival rides for the upcoming Ballwin Days Festival, in addition to conducting a performance review of City Administrator Bob Kuntz.

Following a recommendation from the city administrator, the council may approve a contract worth $10,000 awarded to J&M Displays based in Southeast Iowa.

The contract for the festival's carnival rides may be award to Miller Spectacular Shows, Inc. of Greensbrier, AR following a recommendation by the city's Ballwin Days Festival Committee.

The 2012 Ballwin Days Festival is scheduled to take place June 1 and 2 at Vlasis Park.
