Ellisville City Council Candidate Denny Lober Disqualified by Courts

Judicial officials have disqualified Lober for failing to file a personal financial disclosure form with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

St. Louis County Circuit Court officials announced Friday that Denny Lober has been disqualified as a candidate for the position of District 3 council member on the Ellisville City Council.

According to City Clerk Kate Demeter, Lober’s disqualification resulted from his failure to file a personal financial disclosure form with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

The court order means that Lober is removed as a candidate, but his name will still appear on ballots for the April 2 election, since the materials have already been printed. Because of this, the order asks that signs be posted in each applicable polling place to notify that any votes for Lober will not be counted or recorded.
