Ellisville Council to Address Manchester Road Speeds, Traffic Safety

The Ellisville City Council is scheduled to address various items at its Wednesday meeting that deal with local traffic.

The Ellisville City Council may be voting Wednesday to approve zoning for new businesses, change the speed limit on Manchester Road and OK possible changes regulating where on their properties residents can park.

• Receipt and filing of Planning and Zoning Commission approval dated May 11, 2011 relative to City initiated amendments to the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Ellisville relative to the Ellisville Bikeable/Walkable Master Plan.

• Receipt and filing of Planning and Zoning Commission positive recommendation dated May 11, 2011 relative to City initiated amendments to the Ellisville Municipal Code, Title IV, Land Use, Chapter 400 Zoning Regulations, regarding habitable accessory structures in residential districts.

• Receipt and filing of Planning and Zoning Commission positive recommendation dated May 11, 2011 relative to City initiated amendments to the Ellisville Municipal Code, Title IV, Land Use, Chapter 410, Signs and Advertising Devices.

• Petition of New Day Gluten Free Enterprises for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a fast food restaurant at 15622 Manchester Road, Tammy Square Shopping Center, within the C-3 Commercial Zoning District.

• Bill #3217 an ordinance rescinding ordinance no. 3004 authorizing a conditional use permit to sai investments, LLC, for the operation of the Mobil station at 15961 Manchester Road within the C-3 commercial zoning district.

• Bill #3218 an ordinance to amend chapter 320, speed regulations, section 320.050, special speed limits on roadways, schedule i, of the Municipal Code of the City of Ellisville relating to regulating the speed of all motor vehicles on Manchester Road within the City of Ellisville.

• Bill #3219 an ordinance to amend title iii, traffic code, schedule iv, left turns prohibited, of the Municipal Code of the City of Ellisville relating to northbound traffic on Clarkson Road at Manchester.

• Bill #3220, an ordinance authorizing Mayor Matt Pirrello to execute an installation of automated traffic signal enforcement equipment agreement on behalf of the City of Ellisville with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.
