Ellisville to Update Manchester Road Master Plan

The Ellisville City Council should meet Wednesday evening to approve zoning recommendations and break down future goals for rebuilding Manchester Road.

The Ellisville City Council is scheduled to meet Wednesday evening to approve zoning recommendations and discuss the long-term renovation of the Manchester Road corridor.

Complete issues scheduled to be addressed Wednesday night include:

• Use of the property at 300 Old State Road in Ellisville for practices by the Marquette High School Lacrosse Club from April through May.

• The retirement of Donna Wright, Executive Assistant for the City of Ellisville.

• A recommendation by the city's Planning and Zoning Commission regarding Gambrill Gardens, located at #1 Strecker Road, to amend the use as approved by Ordinance #2837 for one or more buildings from "independent living" to "assisted living."

• A recommendation by the city's Planning and Zoning Commission regarding Triad Automotive Group, LLC, and a conditional use permit to allow operation of the existing Stephen Vincel Honda dealership at 15532 Manchester Road.

• A recommendation by the city's Planning and Zoning Commission regarding "New Day Gluten Free Enterprises." The group's representatives are seeking a conditional use permit for a fast food restaurant at 15622 Manchester Road in the Tammy Square Shopping Center.

• A recommendation by the city's Planning and Zoning Commission for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Ellisville in regards to the Manchester Road Great Streets Master Plan.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Council members will meet at for an organizational meeting prior to convening.
