Ellisville’s 2011 Tax Levy Stays Put

This year's property tax rate within the City of Ellisville will be same as it was in 2010.

Property owners in Ellisville are projected to pay real estate taxes in 2012 on par with last year’s property taxes, which are due at the end of this year.

The Ellisville City Council on Wednesday approved a 15 cent tax rate per $100 of property valuation for the current tax year, which will impact the payments made in 2012.

This year, the City of Ellisville is projected to collect roughly $366,180 in real estate taxes, which was an increase of about $1,500 from what was collected in 2010.

Cary said the residential, agricultural and commercial property values likely will experience a small decrease.
