Pardon The Dust: Construction Started At Ballwin Police & Court Center

The work will move meetings for the Board of Aldermen, Planning and Zoning Commission and municipal court over the summer.

Visitors to Ballwin's Donald “Red” Loehr Police & Court Center will need to pardon a little dust over the summer, as work kicked into demolition mode late last week in the building's boardroom, home to city government meetings and court proceedings.

Under a pair of contracts approved by the Board of Aldermen, there will be an updated dais and improved acoustics, and audio visual improvements which will make it easier to project documents for all in the room to see. There will also be largely unspecified security improvements.

Work is scheduled to be done by Labor Day. The next Board of Aldermen Meeting will be held at The Pointe At Ballwin Commons on June 17. Ballwin Municipal Court will be held June 25, July 23 and August 27 at the City of Manchester's Police & Court facilities.
