Poll Workers Needed for August Primary

St. Louis County needs 3,500 workers for the Aug. 7 primary.

The St. Louis County Board of Elections needs poll workers to staff its 450 polling places for the Aug. 7 primary election.

Election Day for poll workers begins at 5 a.m. and ends after the polls close at 7 p.m.

This is a paid position, and includes a required training class as well as Election Day.

Potential poll workers must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Registered to vote in Missouri.
  • Declare themselves to be Democrats or Republicans.

Training is available Monday through Saturday at the for all positions. To apply, fill out the form on the county's web site or call 314-615-1892 or 314-615-1965.
