The school recently partnered with the St. Louis-based nonprofit group Mission Continues, which provides a variety of services for military service members and their families.

On Tuesday, students at the Ballwin school helped assemble "Hero Packs," which are backpacks or drawstring bags packed with school supplies and other items for children whose parents have been deployed.
