Daily Dose: Ellisville Candidate to Sound Off at Rockwood Forum

Victor Hieken of Ellisville is one of four candidates expected to take part in Tuesday night's Rockwood school board candidates forum at Crestview Middle School.

β€’ Voters looking to refresh the Rockwood School District's Board of Education will have the chance Tuesday night to learn more about their candidates first hand. At a candidates forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of St. Louis taking place , seeking election to the board are expected to be in attendance.

The upcoming April 3 elections will decide who occupies two open seats following the recent candidacy withdrawal of incumbent Geoff Rigabar as well as Peggy Devoy, who that she would not seek re-election.

β€’ Tuesday already is off to a comfortable start with temperatures as of 9 a.m. around 58 degrees. Expect the temperature to continue to rise into the afternoon with a projected high of 74 degrees. Enjoy the weather while it lasts, however, with the National Weather Service predicting thunderstorms by Wednesday night.
