Lafayette High Reacts to Intruder Alert

Representatives of the Rockwood School District high school responded to an intruder alert that went off at approximately 10 a.m. this morning.

The intruder alert system at sounded this morning at approximately 10 a.m.

School officials said they believe the intruder alert system was activated by a student. "Our typical procedures and protocols were implemented immediately while the source of the alert was investigated," said Gina Tarte, spokeswoman.

Tarte said at this time, it has been determined that there is no credible threat to Lafayette High School.
