Parkway Premieres Digital Art Gallery

The Parkway School District unveiled a first-of-its kind art gallery for the school district Thursday.

Ballwin and Ellisville-area artists' work is on display in an online gallery featuring art by students and graduates of the Parkway School District, district representatives announced Thursday.

Through a cooperative effort between the district's fine arts coordinator and technology staff, the website, ParkwayArt.net, was designed to help give positive exposure to students' creative works and act as a resource for local teachers and students, Parkway staff said.

"This type of gallery is unique and one of the first of its kind among school districts," Parkway spokesperson Cathy Kelly wrote. "We are very proud of the excellent work and accomplishments of our Parkway art students and staff."
