Parkway South High Principal Retiring
Gary Mazzola of Parkway South High School announced that he will retire at the end of the current school year, Parkway representatives said Thursday.
Principal Gary Mazzola will retire this spring after working in the Parkway School District for 31 years, district representatives announced Thursday.
Mazzola started his career as an educator as a business teacher at West Junior in 1981, followed by years as a teacher, assistant principal and later head principal at and then Parkway South starting in 1999.
Mazzola and his wife Linda, both Class of 1976 graduates of Parkway West, along with all their children are Parkway School District alumni.
