Parkway West Suffers Homecoming Football Game Loss Against Parkway Central

Parkway West Head Football Coach Jeff Duncan said the Longhorns haven't won against Parkway Central since 2008.

Parkway West students, fans and alumni packed the stands for the school's Homecoming football game Sept. 14 against the Parkway Central Colts.

Aside from the presentation of Homecoming court and the marching band presentation at halftime, Longhorns fans had little reason to cheer. Down at the half 28 to 0, West allowed another Central touchdown through their defense at 11:18 remaining in the 3rd quarter. The Colts failed to pick up an extra point with a missed field goal, but the score advanced to 34-0.

Five minutes later into the 3rd, Central took a field goal to jump their lead to 37-0. A faulty Longhorns possession into the 4th, the Colts took the ball back and Michael Slater ran the ball in for another touchdown. Missing the extra point again, the Colts stretched their lead to 43-0.

The Longhorns got themselves on the board with the next scoring run on the field. A successful play from West quarterback Taylor McNeal to Aaron Reale gained 6 yards for a 2nd down. Troy Thomas carried the ball for West and a 1st down.

West's Michael Bruhin was the Longhorn to take the ball to the endzone and score a touchdown with 7:01 left in the 4th quarter. Bruhin's run broke the shut-out and changed the score to 43-6. West went for a two-point conversion play and did not succeed, but held the Colts from scoring for the remainder of the game.

I think Ellisville's Mayor Adam Paul HAS been reinstated UNLESS this is an appeal to a higher court.Read More The Ellisville council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin who pocketed $50K from Sansone to help get the deal done. On top of the $65K the City - us taxpayers - paid Attorney Martin to look after our interests. These members should be removed by petition vote by the people or the courts for conflict of interest. And if Ellisville Attorney Martin is reading this, you are there to PROTECT the City & Citizens of Ellisville ONLY, NOT give advice as how to ENTRAP Ellisville's duly elected mayor. You are NOT there to give legal advice to ANY COUNCIL MEMBER who is trying to entrap other elected officials. Ellisville needs a HOUSE SWEPT CLEAN of these council members Murray, Anglin, and Pieper, Acup, Perrillo and City Attorney Martin because of CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS AND accepting money from Sansone & Wal Mart agents.
