Twenty Lancers' Athletes Sign With Colleges

From volleyball, softball, football, field hockey and swimming to tennis, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, soccer and golf, Lafayette High School athletes cemented plans with colleges on Wednesday.

A national signing day was held at in Wildwood on May 9 for college-bound students. 

The following student athletes signed letters of intent:

  • Brett Herbers; Milwaukee School of Engineering- Men’s Volleyball
  • Blake Hoover; Meramec Junior Community College- Baseball
  • Grace Kiely; Missouri State West Plains- Volleyball
  • Jordynn Martin; Lindenwood University- Women’s Basketball
  • Sarah Martinez; Quincy University- Softball
  • Kourtney Mueller;  Goshen College- Softball
  • Claire Norfleet; North Central College- Lacrosse
  • Joel Pennington; Illinois Wesleyan- Men’s Basketball
  • Ben Perez; Coe College- Football
  • Reed Reynolds; Culver Stockton- Football
  • Luke Robbe; New Jersey Institute of Technology- Volleyball
  • Markuice Savage; Lincoln University- Football
