Ballwin Golf Partnership Continues with Creve Coeur

Creve Coeur has agreements in place with Ballwin and University City to boost play at all courses.

The City of Ballwin is part of a reciprocal agreement that allows city residents to play at neighboring municipal courses at that community's residential rate.

From July 2011 through November 2012, 444 Ballwin residents have played rounds at Creve Coeur's municipal course, while 382 Creve Coeur residents have played in Ballwin between January of 2011 through November.

Ballwin Board of Aldermen recently recommended a similar agreement with Clayton and Richmond Heights, offering reciprocal privileges of recreation facilities. The agreement, for city employees, went into effect Jan. 1 for a one-year trial period.

The memo to the Board of Aldermen said employee discounts would be available for family memberships, and that the agreements were in use to "hopefully lead to more exercise time and healthier employees."
