I gave a lengthy review on G+ for Mi Lupita. This is an excellent place to eat. Mexican brews on tap, fantastic strawberry daiquiris, and top notch Mexican food. Blows away the franchises.

LOVE Mi Lupita! Great food at great prices and usually very fast. Not typical Mexican restaurant fare. Family recipies made from scratch, both usual standbys with slew of entrees not often seen and are Great! They easily adjust items for those with allergies and have "heat" Americanized but will happily make it with more kick they way they cook for their own family, if you like. Some of our faves are chorizo w/ eggs & potato, fresh cactus dishes, chilles rellenos, pollo asada, anything w/mole sauce, chorizo & cheese "dip", nachos supreme, and tacos or enchiladas with the always succulent chicken or pork. We hear the drinks are great, too.

Do NOT go here if you want service, especially take-out. A friend showed up and ordered appetizers for take-out, which they kindly served. She's a regular. I was there minutes before her at 4:30pm, but was a "new" customer and needed to review the menu. I ordered 5 minutes after her. Her order came and went within 10-15 minutes, and I sat there for 40 minutes waiting on a Chimichanga. I questioned the manager several times (he was my server) and he said they had to marinate the meat and then cook the chimi. Are you serious? What restaurant doesn't have that prepped before the dinner hour? After several attempts to get my food, he finally stated that his was a "sit down" restaurant and that he would be happy to serve me if I wanted to sit down at a table as they were busy. I stated that I had a migraine and would prefer to take my dinner home. He maintained that it would just "be a minute." I stated it had been 40 minutes and that my dinner had better be discounted or "free", and he replied that would not be the case and walked away to take care of other customers. When he finally brought my food out at 5:20pm, he tried to act like I had only been there 20 minutes, and I got another couple involved, who I knew arrived at 4:35pm and were still waiting for their food. He dismissed me and refused to discount my order. I told him to keep it and left. If it's not free to me, now it's "waste" to him and it's "costing" him $$ not to serve me. Plus, he didn't care about my post!

I eat at Mi Lupita almost every week. Great good, reasonable prices and wonderful staff!

We love Mi Lupita! They have the best lunch special in the area. Currently it's $5.25 Mon-Sat for an entree with rice and beans, as well as a drink, chips and salsa with free refills.
